Western Golf Estates HOA – 2026 Community Updates, Plans & Events 🎉🌳🏡

The Western Golf Estates HOA is excited to share several community improvements, updates, and neighborhood events planned for 2026. This year we are focusing on enhancing shared spaces, maintaining the appearance of our neighborhood, and creating opportunities for neighbors to connect.

🌳 Big Berm Improvements (Central Park)

Our Central Park “Big Berm” continues to be a focal point of the neighborhood, and several improvements are planned for 2026 to keep the area safe, welcoming, and beautiful.

Tree Project: This spring, the HOA will be planting several new trees on the Big Berm to enhance the landscape and add long-term beauty to the space.

Safety Removal: A dying pine tree that has begun leaning toward the roadway will be removed to prevent potential hazards.

Community Book Library Returns: The neighborhood Little Free Library will be reinstalled on the Big Berm this spring. The book box required repairs over the winter due to animal/pest damage, but it has now been restored and will soon be ready once again for residents to take a book, leave a book, and share with neighbors.

🚧 Neighborhood Appearance Improvements

Several projects are planned to keep Western Golf Estates looking its best:

Entrance Sign Refresh: The Western Golf Estates entrance sign will be refreshed and repainted this year, helping maintain a clean and welcoming first impression for residents and visitors entering the subdivision.

New Community Banners: All worn or damaged Western Golf Estates street banners will be replaced and re-hung with new banners throughout the neighborhood to improve the overall look and consistency of our streetscape.

📜 HOA Bylaws Update

The HOA Bylaws Review and Update Project is nearing completion. Amendments will be finalized and implemented for 2026 to help ensure the bylaws remain current and effective for the community.

Once finalized:

The updated HOA bylaws will be uploaded to the HOA website for all homeowners to access.

Homeowners may download and print a copy at their convenience.

Printed copies can also be requested from the HOA for a small printing fee.

This project helps ensure that the governing documents remain clear, accessible, and aligned with the needs of the community.

📌 HOA Financial Update

The HOA has experienced a significant increase in delinquent, late, and unpaid homeowner dues over the past year. These delinquencies impact the association’s ability to maintain common areas and fund community improvements.

As a result, late fees, enforcement procedures, and related policies are currently being reevaluated and may be adjusted for the 2026 year to help ensure fairness and maintain the financial health of the association.

Homeowners are encouraged to keep accounts current to help support neighborhood maintenance and projects that benefit the entire community.

Annual HOA Meeting (Virtual)

Date: May 3, 2026

Location: Zoom

Homeowners are encouraged to attend our annual meeting to hear updates about neighborhood projects, finances, and upcoming initiatives. It’s also a great opportunity to ask questions and stay involved in the direction of the community.

Western Golf Estates Subdivision Garage Sale 🛍️

Date: June 6, 2026

Our subdivision-wide garage sale is back again this year. It’s the perfect time to declutter, find great deals, and meet neighbors walking throughout the neighborhood. Many residents participate each year, making it one of the most active days in the subdivision.

Summer Block Party Returns 🎶🍔

Date: July 25, 2026

Time: 1:00 PM

Location: Central Park – Big Berm

One of our favorite traditions is returning! The Western Golf Estates Summer Block Party will once again bring the neighborhood together for an afternoon of fun.

Expect:

Great food

Music

Yard games and activities

Plenty of time to relax and connect with neighbors

Bring a chair, bring the family, and come enjoy a laid-back summer afternoon with the community.
